SVP Sales

We are looking for a dynamic, critical thinking leader to set sales strategy and ensure the execution of Company's commercial activities including the direct sales organization, inside sales and agency sales. This leadership opportunity will see you leading the sales function with an aim to grow sales volumes and revenues across the assigned regions. Company provides internet, voice services and cloud communication technologies to over 60,000 North American businesses and generates revenues of over $400M. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and could be located in Company's Vancouver, WA or Toronto, ON offices. Success in this role will be measured by the extent to which overall sales volume can be expanded for sales of Company's target products (Cloud VoIP & Internet) and the extent to which churn can be reduced. Additional measurements will include the expansion of new target customers, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. • Develop sales strategies based on segmentation, customer centricity and market conditions. • Ensure sales strategy and action plans align with and support the Company's values and purpose • Ensure uncompromised consistency and effectiveness of Company's sales process and procedures. • Establish a relationship with and directly engage with Company’s key strategic / largest customers. • Accountable for Company's overall results including revenue, EBITDA and cash flow. • Manage and review the performance of sales managers. • Set goals, measure performance, adjust staffing and meet profitability targets • Lead, coach, direct and motivate the sales team. • Build and manage sales capabilities and sales talent.
