The Sales Engineer will support Company's Direct Sales, Agent and Wholesale Channels. The Sales Engineer performs an important function that can significantly impact the sales and revenues of the Company. This position is responsible for providing technical direction and configuration assistance for customer proposals and quotations based on the requirements and configuration provided by the various sales channels. The position requires thorough understanding of data and voice networking and various service delivery options in order to check configurations and properly construct proposals. The position will directly interface with Company's sales channels and end user customers in a pre-sales and sales capacity assisting the channels to reach their sales objectives. Additionally, the Sales Engineer provides guidance and assists the sales teams and channels in building solutions to address specific customer needs delivered upon Company's network. In this position, you will be working with Company Engineering department and the Engineering teams of various carriers and network suppliers (i.e. Juniper and Accedian) to help the account teams and channels position Company solutions effectively against competing offerings to grow revenue. In this capacity you will be responsible for the day-to-day technical sales engineering of the Company sales team and channels as well as be expected to assist with field training of sales, channel and support personnel.
